This summer gave us some of the most anticipated movies of 2026, The Odyssey and Spider-Man: Brand New Day. It was a win for movie lovers and beauty lovers alike as both these movies had long premieres filled with incredible looks (everyone say thank you Law Roach and Ernesto Casillas). These two press tours are changing the game for celebrity makeup and reverting us back to an age that praises the skin for what it is instead of an emphasis on airbrushed perfection. Both our male and female actresses looked stunning from head to toe, with eyeliner wings. Let’s break down 5 of the most incredible premiere and press tour looks.
Zendaya Odyssey Premiere

I don’t think I will ever get over this look. Her stylist Law Roach stated that he drew inspiration from Greek mythology and this premiere outfit looks like it fell from Olympus itself. Zendaya comes out in a beautiful white dress with a sloping slit up her thigh, gorgeous feathered wings dripping down her back and gathering in her train. This outfit makes me think of the myth of Icarus, son of inventor Daedalus. To escape the labyrinth they were trapped in he builds these beautiful wings for his son held together by wax, warning him not to fly too high or else the wax would melt in the sun’s heat. Icarus of course ignores the warning, flies too high, and falls to the sea below. Zendaya’s look seems to capture that moment of flight before falling, with a natural makeup look but heavy blush, highlight placed in places the sun would reflect off, and dewy glowy skin. Her hair is windblown curls in a soft braid and the wings on her back seem to melt down her frame. The soft natural makeup truly makes her a sight to behold as it simply highlights her natural beauty creating an ethereal essence that complements the character she plays beautifully. Whether the intention was to reference Icarus or just the opinion of this writer I’d say this look captured the essence of the Odyssey perfectly.
Anne Hathaway Odyssey premiere Paris

Anne Hathaway can only be described in one word, Regal. Queen Clarisse would be so proud (iykyk). Her dress is more reminiscent of Bridgerton than it is of Ancient Greece, but it fits the theme of the movie beautifully regardless. She looks every part her character Queen Penelope of Ithaca. The leather bodice appears similar to the fighting leathers worn by the soldiers during the invasion of Troy. The tight top complements the flowing skirt beautifully, she appears to float across the carpet rather than walk. The necklace she wears again adds a royal feeling to the look. It’s hard to decide if her glow comes from the perfectly placed bronzer and blush, the soft brown smoky eye, or her natural pregnancy glow. Either way, they combine to create a soft glamorous look that feels like it naturally enhances her already beautiful features. Her half-up hairdo also adds to the soft glam vibe as her hair falls naturally like a crown around her head. Who else but Princess Mia herself would look this gorgeous in a custom Luis Vuitton?
Zendaya London World Premiere Odyssey

To be totally honest, the majority of this post is about Zendaya because she eats every single time. This look is no different. She stuns in this Schiaparelli dress that fun fact was presented in a fashion show the same day. There could be an entire blog post about the dress alone, but her makeup is why I picked this look specifically. Her base is natural, glowing, and softly blurring, creating an elevated version of her own skin rather than an airbrush filter effect. Her blush rests high on her cheekbones streamlining the face and creating sharp angles that complement the molded bodice of her dress perfectly. Her eyes are what caused the world to put down the black eyeliner for thigh lining and pick up a white shadow for highlights. The soft brown liner combined with that stark white inner corner once again creates an ethereal Greek goddess look, complete with some gorgeous faux spiky lashes. TikTok creators have copied and broken down this look but my personal favorite was done by Via @via..li go check out her video if you haven’t already.
Sadie Sink Spider-Man Brand New Day premiere

Sadie Sink the woman you are. I’ve been a fan of this actress for as long as she’s been on the scene (I still religiously watch the All Too Well 10-minute short film because I’m obsessed with her) I’m incredibly excited to see her enter the MCU. Her silver dress is an absolutely gorgeous color on her. Her red hair looks fiery against the cool-toned silver. With a halter neck and low-cut back, Sadie looks like she stepped off the runway and onto the carpet. Here again we can see the switch from high glam to natural elevated makeup looks. Soft pinks on the blush and lips, minimal eyeshadow, natural lashes, and blurring foundation create her look. Nina Park, her makeup artist, does it again. She is the blueprint for the minimalist aesthetic.
Zendaya Spider-Man Brand New Day Premiere

Who else to finish off our premiere list than Zendaya herself? I simply cannot help it she has had too many iconic looks this season. This all-black look is very unlike anything else we’ve seen so far from her. To the Marvel fan in me, this outfit feels very Venom-esque. With sharp edges, ruffles, a structured bodice, and bug-like antennae coming from the top of the dress, it truly feels like this dress came from outer space and crash-landed at this premiere. She styles her hair in spiky bangs adding to the venomous vibe. Maybe she chose to channel a spider herself rather than a character as she has done for previous movies. Either way, it is unforgettable. Her contour and blush create the same harsh angles her dress does, and it’s all completed with the most devious smoky eye I’ve ever seen. I want to take a class dissecting how this smoky eye was done. She looks every part the villain in this dress and while she doesn’t play a villain in the movie I do believe her counterpart MJ would approve of this dark but dashing look.
There were truly too many outfits and makeup looks from this season of premieres. If your favorite wasn’t on here, head to my TikTok of the same name for more breakdowns from the premiere season.
